Over the history of religion, their books have talked about the unseen hands of the angels. As there is a God/Creator or what you call it, there is the message that has been given. Most religions talk about following the word and to not question scriptures. What most people do is follow the word blindly like sheep. This for me is something that I can not do as I do not follow the crowd.
As we see how the religion controls their followers with a promise of an afterlife and that everyone has sinned, and this has never set well with me. If we study where each religion starts and what the society was being taught, we can see the fact that it is about control over those people. If you follow this, you are told that you will get to heaven but if you do not you will go to hell. Religion is about control; the thing is that it works better than you can imagine.
I, myself, have always believed in a higher power, however I do not follow a religion. I live the lifestyle of the eastern teachings of Buddhism, and I question it from time to time. There is what I believe, however I do not push it on anyone else. That is the way that I live and if you are religious that is fine, just do not push it on me.
As there are more conflicts around the world, a good part is due to religion. The one that comes to mind is in the Middle East where the Jews are attacked by the other religious factions in the area. The thing is that ever since time began there have always been the battle of who’s God is the right God.
It is sad to say that mankind has come out of the old ways of the past with improvements, but we still can not see everyone as equals. The angels are here now, and the true God/Creator is going to pass judgment on mankind. It will not matter if you are a Jew, Buddhist, Christian or what your religious belief is.
All religions say they are the right one to follow as their way will lead to God/Creator. The fact is that most believers believe what their families have believed for generations. Thus, most are born into it. I was born into following the Christian faith, however I left the church because of some events that happened in my life after I moved to Edmonton.
I woke up, so to say in December of 1997 when I was going through a troubling time in my life. I went to the church for help, and they turned me away. It was then that I dropped all my belief in religion. For the next many years, I was on a path to find out who I was and, in the torment, I found that my path lead me to Buddhism. I learned the lifestyle and added my own thoughts. Since then, I have been on a path of understanding this world.
Before you judge me, I recommend you walk in my shoes and understand who I am. I may have my opinions; however I do not pass judgment on another persons beliefs or life style. Only if everyone would have respect for other’s beliefs and there way of life. The true God/Creator will show his/her face in the teacher of your religious belief.
Stay safe.
